Job Summary The Regulatory Project Management Consultant is tasked with coordinating the remediation of high-profile regulatory actions as presented to Comenity Bank, Comenity Capital Bank and various other Bread Financial entities. This role works closely with the Program Management Vice President and internal stakeholders at various levels. This Consultant is also responsible for assisting in the execution and integration of required changes as a result of regulatory exams, ensuring proper documentation and communication, and coordinating reporting to various committees, senior management and the Bank Board of Directors. Job Description Essential Job Functions: Regulatory Project Management - Assist in developing project plans for the remediation of findings that are a result of regulatory examinations. This includes non-formal regulatory actions such as Supervisory Recommendations and MOU’s up to formal actions such as Consent Orders. Develop and manage reporting to present to senior management, various committees, and the Bank Board of Directors. Manage multiple projects at once with accuracy and attention to detail. Coordinate responses to regulatory recommendations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to regulators. Business Relationships - Develop and manage relationships at all levels while building strong rapport with senior business leaders in the Bank and Bread Financial. Partner with various business areas such as Legal, Risk, and IT and establish trust, confidence, and capability. Ensure the Regulatory Project Management function delivers high quality results to all key stakeholders. Communication - Utilize critical thinking skills to help analyze business issues, collaborate with stakeholders to resolve problems, and gain consensus on the best solution. Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills when working with internal and external partners and at leadership presentations. Value effective communication and the importance of building consensus. Reports To: Senior Manager, Regulatory Project Management, Banking Governance and Oversight Direct Reports: None Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Normal office environment. Hybrid role, work in corporate office as required. Some travel may be required. This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3-4 days per month. In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs. This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of Columbus, OH; Plano, TX; Draper, UT; Chadds Ford, PA; and Wilmington, DE. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance, accounting, organizational management, or related field of study. 7 years of overall professional work experience in the banking/finance industry. 3 years of experience working in risk management, audit, compliance, oversight and control, or other similar discipline. Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience in project management. Experience presenting to and communicating with executive leaders. Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building strong partnerships. Typical Starting Range: $97,900.00 - $177,400.00 Full Salary Range for position: California: $112,600.00 - $221,800.00 Colorado: $97,900.00 - $186,300.00 New York: $107,700.00 - $221,800.00 Washington: $102,800.00 - $204,000.00 The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills. Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan. All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO. Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
