Position: Certified Medication Aide
Location: Rehabilitation Center
Job Description:
We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our healthcare facility. The Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for administering medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers- Ensure patients receive medications on time and in the correct dosage- Document medication administration in patients' charts- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication and report them to healthcare providers- Assist healthcare providers in updating medication orders and ensuring accurate medication administration- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent- Certification as a Medication Aide- Previous experience in medication administration preferred- Strong attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Salary: Starting from $20.50 per hour
