Bravera Wealth is hiring for a Registered Assistant in Bismarck. Bravera is an employee- and director-owned company that is committed to helping our employees forge a new path in their career. The primary purpose of this role is to assist the lead Investment Advisor Representative with client meetings and servicing client needs and goals.

Measures of Success

  • Be a team player with a positive attitude fostering relationships inside and outside the organization.
  • Explain to clients and prospects the types of financial services provided, as well as educating clients and answering questions regarding investment options and potential risks.
  • Recommend products and services to clients that best suit their objectives while working as a Fiduciary.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding and acting in accordance with the legal responsibilities of a Fiduciary.
  • Provide quotes and enter equity and mutual fund trades.
  • Research and prepare risk management recommendations using term, whole life, and universal life insurance products.
  • Coordinate client account openings and respond to compliance inquiries.
  • Maintain technology platforms and investment portfolio software to improve office productivity and customer relationships.
  • Assist financial advisors in new business development and client appreciation initiatives.
  • Responsible for the servicing of accounts to ensure needs and goals of the client are met.
  • Input notes and review reports of accounts for consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist with information to prepare a financial plan to achieve the client’s financial objectives.
  • Put financial strategies into action or recommend clients to experts who can assist.
  • Responsible for communication with and between clients and Wealth staff.
  • Know and adhere to Bravera policies and procedures, as well as provide recommendations when needed.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  • Build relationships for sales opportunities with affiliated companies and other referral sources.
  • Promote the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  • The employee will adhere to all Wealth rules and regulations, including but not limited to requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
  • Will be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required. Must maintain a clear driving record in order to maintain coverage under Bravera’s vehicle insurance provider.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.
  • PC proficiency in a windows environment required, including Outlook, Word & Excel. Proficiency to learn and execute software associated with creating and maintaining client accounts.
  • Professional communication both verbally and written.
  • Aspire to the company aspiration to Learn, Teach, and Mentor.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma with college degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred. Ability to pass a background check.
  • Certifications: FINRA Series 7, 66 (or equivalent) securities license, State Insurance License for Accident and Health, Variable Life and Annuity, Life and Annuity. Or ability to obtain licenses.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of financial services experience or related professional experience.
  • Understanding of financial markets and portfolio management concepts, as well as applicable fiduciary law.
  • Understanding of estate and financial planning, estate and gift taxes, taxation of wealth and understanding of ERISA, and applicable regulations for administration of employee benefit accounts.
  • Ability to communicate well with the public, clients, company personnel, as well as the ability to work well with others and be a team player.
