Description
The preferred candidate must have skilled maintenance experience. Responsible for routine plumbing, light electrical, troubleshooting, common area cleaning. Maintenance Technician works closely with the Community Manager to oversee contracted services. Must exhibit excellent customer service skills, be organized and efficient. Selected candidate will undergo criminal, credit and pre-employment drug screening. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Competitive salary range. Benefits include PTO, 401K, medical, dental and more. Equal Opportunity Employer. HVAC/Universal EPA and CPO Certification is preferred. Ability to work independently and have strong customer service skills is a must.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Light plumbing
- Light electrical
- Troubleshooting various maintenance issues
- Coordinate and supervise vendor/contractor services
- Picking up trash on the grounds
- Cleaning the common areas
- Completing work orders in a timely fashion
- Maintaining an organized and sufficiently stocked maintenance area
- Turning vacant apartments (unit make ready)
- Provide excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, residents and vendors
