Job Introduction

Designs, develops and improves new or existing product and assist in the building and testing of prototype vehicles.

Major Responsibilities

• Develops and builds product relating to the customer needs.
• Assists the engineering department with regard to product redesign to resolve product difficulties.
• Maintains material stock and inventories and advises material requisitions. Inspect, diagnose repair and/or replace vehicle operating system (air conditioning, powertrain, suspension, brakes etc.)
• Operate a vehicle lift
• Experience installation wiring harnesses and thermal hose systems
• Experience performing, and the use of power tools required, to modify sheet metal and plastic components; this includes A-surface components
• Ability to view and interpret CAD images
• General knowing of interior and exterior vehicle assembly, service, and aftermarket modifications

Knowledge and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Hi-lo license, crane operator license.
• Welding certification required.
• Journeyman or Apprenticeship preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years’ experience in an automotive environment, preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment is highly desired.

Skills and Competencies

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
