Branex Group is Hiring a CNC Programmer (Entry Level) Near Pontiac, MI

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts according to precise specifications.

Duties:
- Develop and write programs for CNC machines using CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Set up and operate CNC machines including milling machines and lathes
- Perform quality checks using tools such as calipers, coordinate measuring machines, and other precision measuring instruments
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the proper programming and machining methods
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with tooling selection and setup for various machining operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of lathe and milling machine operations
- Proficient in using calipers and other measuring tools

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Knowledge of various types of tooling used in CNC machining
