Job Overview:
Put your veterinary skills and knowledge to use at one of the largest, most progressive animal shelters on the East Coast! We are in search of a full-time veterinarian to join the ever-evolving, fast-paced Brandywine Valley team.

Whether you are a recent graduate or a seasoned veterinarian, you will be afforded a unique and exciting experience available at our Malvern location. From performing surgeries & exams on privately owned pets or shelter animals awaiting adoption, treating cruelty cases on-location with our Animal Welfare Officers, to providing wellness exams for owned pets, you will be given the opportunity to utilize your related talents to help us continue our life-saving work.

We are located at the junction of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey in the attractive Mid-Atlantic area. We are close to Delaware Beaches, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.

Our clients and patients are offered the highest standard of care and education to help them make sound medical choices for their pets. We have a NEW state-of-the-art facility with 6 exam rooms, a spacious surgical prep space, and two generously oversized surgical suites. We have deep roots in active learning and advanced medical procedures. Our highly skilled support staff play an integral role in assisting our doctors and providing top-notch medical care to our patients and a high level of customer service to our clients. Our practice offers opportunities to engage directly with our clients in a variety of settings including free vaccination and microchip clinics.

We are seeking a Delaware licensed veterinarian with the ability to provide quality care in a friendly and supportive environment. Our practice is focused on small animals. Proficiency in surgery and/or dentistry is also beneficial. We handle appointments from wellness to urgent care, however, we have top-notch emergency centers local to us. We do not see after-hour or emergency appointments. We routinely use our in house IDEXX labs, digital x-ray, and digital ultrasound as tools to help our patients.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college or university and one year of professional veterinary medical experience.
  • Possession of a current license to practice veterinary medicine in Delaware and/or Pennsylvania or ability to get.
