Brandon Electric is a family-owned commercial and residential electric contractor that has served Central Florida for over 25 years. We are a full-service, licensed electrical contracting company specializing in residential and commercial service, as well as new residential construction and urban infill projects.

About you:

As our Commercial Electrical Foreman you will oversee and manage commercial electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety regulations, and timely completion of projects. You will lead a team of electricians, coordinate with project managers, and communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians, apprentices, and helpers on commercial electrical projects.
• Interpret electrical blueprints and specifications to plan and execute project layouts and installations.
• Coordinate with project managers to schedule work, allocate resources, and ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings to review project scope, safety protocols, and job requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain it within a specified timeframe.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in electrical work is preferred.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
