**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional patient care and support within a medical office setting.

**Duties:**

  • Patient Reception: Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and assist with completing necessary paperwork or electronic forms.
  • Vital Signs Assessment: Take and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiratory rate, before their appointments.
  • Assist with Medical Procedures: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist healthcare providers during procedures such as wound care, minor surgeries, or medical tests.
  • Patient Education: Provide basic health education to patients, including instructions on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques, under the guidance of healthcare providers.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, vital signs, and test results, using electronic health record (EHR) systems or paper charts.
  • Patient Communication: Communicate with patients regarding appointment scheduling, test results, medication refills, and other administrative matters, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Medical Supply Management: Inventory and restock medical supplies, medications, and office materials as needed, ensuring adequate supply levels for patient care and office operations.
  • Telephone Triage: Answer phone calls from patients, triage inquiries, and route calls to appropriate healthcare providers or departments for further assistance.
  • Assist with Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry to support the efficient operation of the office.
  • Patient Comfort: Ensure patients are comfortable while waiting for appointments, offering beverages, magazines, and assistance as needed, and maintaining a welcoming and tidy office environment.
