Brainiax Preschool offers a 1:6 ratio with dynamic teachers and a small class of only 12 students maximum. At Brainiax, we believe that significant learning takes place when children are actively engaged and exploring. Our safe learning environment allows for children to thrive, build confidence and explore. The preschool offers a Reggio Emilia/HighScope model which means our focus is on building a strong classroom community where children learn to work with other children through collaborative play, and learn active listening skills all while building strong academic foundations.

Brainiax believes every child should be given the chance to learn at their own pace. As such, our program focuses on each individual’s cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development with a kindergarten readiness curriculum.

The facility offers two air purification systems in the main classroom, one in our lobby and another in our main office. Face masks are optional.

• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach/assist children
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Organize snack and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress
• Collaborate with other educators
• Engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.

Skills:

• Prior preschool teaching experience
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Encourage a positive and smooth working environment among children
• BS/BA in education or relevant field required
• Valid driver's license
• Infant / child CPR certification or willingness to take CPR course is required.
• The ability to teach 3-5 year old's.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
