RESIDENT CARE WORKER

The Resident Care Worker will be responsible for the following duties:

• Aids individuals who need assistance with daily tasks• Provide training in life skills.• Report to the group home manager.• Meal preparation• De-escalate Crisis• Note Documentation of daily task• Communicate with the Child & Family team.• Housekeeping• Community activities with residence• Perform a variety of task.• Be in line of sight of the residents.• Prompt and redirect negative behaviors.• Pass Medication daily to residents who need it.

As a Resident Care Worker, your role is pivotal in overseeing the daily activities of the residents and providing direct care to ensure their safety and well-being. Your efforts will directly influence the lives of these young men, fostering their growth and development in a supportive environment.

• Housekeeping• Clean the kitchen after meals and snacks.• Clean the bathrooms on each shift.• Sanitize all common areas.• Vacuum floor• Check the resident's rooms to ensure their chores have been completed. • Wash residents’ clothing.• The 3rd shift should complete a deep cleaning of the home.

Qualifications
-Preferred 2 years of experience with working with youth. (Not required)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals are key qualifications for this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
