Description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Workforce Readiness. This position will be responsible for workforce program execution, engaging and securing members for the workforce programs, building and maintaining external relationships, reporting and evaluation, administrative compliance, and safety.

The position requires working with small to large groups of youth. There is potential for exposure to germs and illnesses. Employees are to follow all safety procedures and protocols.

Requirements

Education and work experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or minimum 2 years related experience
• Previous experience working with youth

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to work regular business and program hours with some evenings, nights, and weekends
• Effective organizational skill
• Effective leadership skills
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify needs and find solutions
• Demonstrated success managing relationships internally and externally
• Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Must be able to pass agency background screens and drug screens at any time
• The position requires driving a company vehicle. Candidates must have a satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for the operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under the company insurance the requirement is for the employee to be a minimum of age 21.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bilingual
• Currently certified in CPR/First Aid
• Experience with workforce programs
• Knowledge of program evaluation, data reporting systems, and performance management systems
• Experience or knowledge of Boys & Girls Club movement (national and/or local)

Pay & Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $52,800 (exempt, full-time)
