Description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is currently accepting applications for Mobile Youth Specialist. The part time Mobile Program Specialist is responsible for mobile program implementation; youth program quality, administrative compliance and safety. Youth receive targeted services in a safe, supportive environment from staff who believe in the organization’s mission. The Club experience focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.

Duties include but not limited to: implement assigned programming and activities, provide age appropriate services and activities to youth, fidelity of curriculum, quality programming, administrative compliance and safety

This is a mobile program and work sites are located in low income areas, challenging neighborhoods, and growth neighborhoods. 

Requirements

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Experience working with youth is preferred

Qualifications include:

• Ability to work during program hours
• Ability to be a positive role model
• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
• Ability to relate to at-risk youth
• Ability to facilitate, teach, or instruct
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of technology and software such as tablets, social media, cloud based tools, virtual meeting tools
• Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
• Position requires driving personal vehicle and company vehicle. Candidate must have satisfactory driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under company insurance the requirement is for the employee to be a minimum of age 21

Salary & Benefits:

• Minimum starting pay: $14.00 per hour
