Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is Hiring a Comin' Up Program Coordinator (Full-Time) Near Fort Worth, TX

Description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is currently accepting applications for a Coordinator position with our Comin' Up Gang Intervention Program. The CU Coordinator is, under the direct supervision of the Senior Director of CU, responsible for program coordination, program support, reporting, administrative duties, and office management.

Duties include but are not limited to assisting the supervisor with program coordination and activities; providing program support to employees; compiling data and creating required reports; completing all administrative duties; maintaining office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, and being a positive role model.

Comin' Up Gang Intervention Program serves gang-involved youth between the ages of 12-18 years in Fort Worth communities. Comin' Up Program provides needs-based services and activities in efforts to reduce gang violence and influence positive change.

Requirements

Education and work experience requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience with demonstrated ability to perform duties

Qualifications include:

  • Ability to work regular business hours (8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday – Friday)
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
  • Ability to accurately handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and efficient
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and possess good judgment
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient typing skills and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of database systems and ability to perform data entry
  • Must be able to pass any required background screens and drug screens at any time
  • The position requires driving a personal vehicle. Candidates must have a satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for the operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under the company insurance the requirement is for the employee to be a minimum of age 21.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Pay: $18.00 hourly
  • Benefits: Medical Insurance, Flex Spending Account, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement with 5% match, Holiday, PTO
