We recognize thirteen holidays annually and our centers are closed. Additionally, if the holiday falls on a weekend day, we will be closed the Friday or Monday closest to the holiday.

POSITION: Membership Coordinator
LOCATION: Harrington Clubhouse
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
HOURS OF WORK: Full-Time, 10am-6pm, scheduling flexibility required for events.
WORK STATUS: Non-Exempt
Reporting to the Director of Operations (and working closely with the Operations Manager), the Membership Coordinator will supervise and support the front desk/receptionists at the Harrington Clubhouse and oversee special membership projects, including the Teen Outreach Initiative. The Teen Outreach Initiative’s goal is to grow teen membership by 20% as well as increase average daily attendance to 175. The Membership Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting with the development of other membership growth initiatives and conducting clerical and reporting tasks including data entry and reporting, when needed and directed by the Director of Operations. The Club is looking for an individual who thinks outside of the box and develops creative strategies to grow our membership, especially our teen population.
Qualification Requirements
Education: High School or GED required. Degree from an accredited college or university, preferred but not required.
Experience: A minimum of two years’ working in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization with skills and experience in recruitment tactics, supervision of reception area, and working with a diverse youth, family, and staff population. Strong social media and marketing experience to attract youth and families to join the Club.
Knowledge: Considerable knowledge of youth development best practices, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures.

Internal: Maintains close contact with assigned Directors and other staff to provide technical assistance in matters of programming and operations; interacts regularly with leadership team
External: Maintains contact with external community groups, parents, current and potential Club members, schools, and others.
