Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties have played an integral role in the lives of local youth for more than 50 years, providing daily programs and services to thousands of young people. 

We are currently seeking a part time, like-minded individual who is as passionate about their profession as BGCSDC is about our mission. Under the direction of the Club Director, the Youth Development Professional will plan, implement, facilitate, and supervise activities and events in a specific program area. Additionally, Youth Development Professional’s should feel comfortable to promote the safety of club members, quality programs and the appearance of the club at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be over 18 years of age. 
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience 
• Pass pre-employment Level II background screening and drug test. 
• Belief in the mission, principles, values, and standards of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County 
• Must possess excellent leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, youth, parents, local community leaders, schools, and community organizations
