• The ideal applicant MUST be available M-F daily. We are hiring for our day camp in Bristol RI and before and after camp in East Providence (transportation for staff is provided from 115 Williams Ave).

The Boys & Girls Club of East Providence is seeking applicants to plan and run youth activities at our summer camp location in Bristol RI and at our Clubhouse on Williams Ave in East Providence.
Applicants MUST have:
*Previous experience working with youth
* Hold a high school diploma

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
Program Development and Implementation

• Effectively implement and administer programs, services and activities for program participants. Programs include but are not limited to: Art activities, sports and recreation, character and leadership building activities, STEM and social and emotional development.
• Monitor and evaluate programs and activities to ensure health and safety of members, Prepare periodic activity reports.
• Ensure a productive work environment by participating in all scheduled staff meetings.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• May participate in special programs and/or events

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Minimum one year of previous experience with youth
• High School diploma required, college credits preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamic
