Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito Summer Adventure Camps is looking for positive, energetic people to join our Summer Camp Staff. Our camp program serves youth ages 5-18. Join us this summer for a fun filled action packed adventure!

Must be available to start work May 30, 2024 and continue thru August 7, 2024.
Must have flexibility to work shifts between 7:30am to 5:30pm, Mon-Fri., 25-35 hours per week.

We are looking to hire multiple employees for the following positions:

Adventure Day Camps Staff -- Must be capable of following lesson plans and implementing summer camp programming and activities with campers on a daily basis including but not limited to; arts & crafts, sports, games, computers.
*Hourly pay for Day Camps ranges from $16.80-$17.00/hr based on experience.

DRIVING STAFF – Looking for individuals that are comfortable driving Club Vans to transport campers from different camp locations and on field trips. Must be at least 20 years of age, have had driver’s license for at minimum of 3 years, must have a current valid driver’s license, must have clean driving record. Proof of driving record will be required before approval.

*Hourly wage during driving times only, $18/hr

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with children.
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification a plus
- Must have a positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and be able to relate with children
- Must be dependable, a team player, and work well with peers
- Must be able to work in an active/physical environment with campers within our program guidelines
- Must have good communication skills and ability to speak with parents and members on a regular basis
- Supervise and ensure a safe environment for all campers at all times

*Upon hiring applicants must pass a background check, livescan fingerprinting, and drug test. Minor employees (anyone under 18 years of age) must participate in a six hour mandatory minor employee training before beginning work.
