Boys and Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region is Hiring a Site Director Near Colorado, CO

Site Director (Kids Club 360)
Position Starts August 1st
Pay Scale: $18.00 Depending on Experience 
Kids Club 360 is looking for an energetic and motivated person to manage a licensed site within our Kids Club 360 locations, DBA of the Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region. Kids Club 360 provides amazing opportunities and programs for our members; Kids Club 360 needs someone who is as excited as our organization to make a positive impact in their lives!
Duties include: 
  • Manage site efficiently to ensure a safe, fun and engaging environment for staff and children, ages 5-12. Planning, implementing and overseeing daily programs and activities.
  • Managing staff of one or more with empowerment and encouragement: holding weekly staff meetings, timesheets, reporting, program implementation, and training.
  • Administrative: documenting and reporting of attendance to the Finance Department and Operations; collect and keep accurate records of payments and communicate with both parents/Finance Department; maintaining records of subsidy programs, input of charges into the database, record of meals, and end of month requirements.
  • Monthly Site Reports detailing program implementation and outcomes, site challenges and successes reported to Operations and Development.
  • Assisting with extracurricular community events
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have one of the following state licensing requirements: 
    • a four (4) year college degree with a major such as recreation, education with a specialty in art, elementary or early childhood education, or a subject in the human service field.
    • Two years of college training and six (6) months of satisfactory and verifiable full-time or equivalent part-time, paid or volunteer, experience, since attaining the age of eighteen (18), in the care and supervision of 4 or more children.
    • Three years of satisfactory and verifiable full-time or equivalent part-time, paid or volunteer, experience, since attaining the age of 18, in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children. The program director must complete six (6) semester hours, nine (9) quarter hours in course work from a regionally accredited college or university, or forty (40) clock hours of training in course work applicable to school-age children within the first nine (9) months of employment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
