Boy Scouts of America, Great Rivers Council is Hiring a Development Associate Near Columbia, MO

The Development Associate helps drive and implement fundraising efforts of the BSA throughout the year assisting the Development Director under the supervision of the Business Manager through the day-to-day operations of the department and helps provide support to the development team, field executives on varied operational needs for projects and events. This position will participate in all fundraising activities and development events in a support role. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the development plan through the following responsibilities:

  • Data entry – Will be the lead interface with proprietary CRM as well as Blackbaud products to record and track receivables and donor data.
  • Keep donor records updated and accurate.
  • Timely administration of donor acknowledgement letters and tax statements
  • Assist with logistics, coordination and promotion of special events and fundraisers
  • Assist with pledge uncollectable audits and recovery
  • Basic administration functions – like calendar management and appointment scheduling
  • Coordinate mass mailings, both physical and electronic
  • Assist in Retail sales in Scout Shop
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience Preferred:

  • Microsoft Office & Teams
  • Database management
  • Point of Sale programs
  • Considerate phone and email etiquette

  • Friday (Required)
  • Saturday (as scheduled)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
