Title: Maintenance Technician Supervisor
Location: South East Houston
We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with coordinators to organize work orders and provide field support to technicians. This role requires overseeing and scheduling the daily tasks of our internal technicians, necessitating a strong mechanical understanding spanning various trades including plumbing, electrical, and remodeling. Additionally, the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate projects, manage emergencies, and handle overflow of reactive maintenance as necessary. Daily interaction with our Vice President, subcontractors, and technicians is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train field technicians.
- Assist coordinators in procuring necessary materials for jobs.
- Schedule labor according to client timelines.
- Supervise technicians in the field, ensuring thorough documentation in multiple systems.
- Provide technical support to field technicians.
- Communicate updates promptly to the Vice President.
- Manage inventory in technicians' vehicles.
- Conduct safety discussions with technicians.
- Hold weekly meetings with Account Managers to discuss job progress.

- Solid understanding of mechanical, structural, plumbing, and electrical systems, with troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand/power tools, with a quick adaptability to new tools.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Availability for a demanding schedule, including long hours, occasional overnight work, and rotating weekends on-call.
- Physical capability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
- Proficiency with smartphone usage and various applications.
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent from a trade school.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen.
