Summary:Responsible for all activities associated with running designated machine including: setup, operation, cleanup and recommending improvements to operations for 3rd shift.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Sets up and runs the pre-feeder, feeding corrugate sheets through the machine.
• Review job tickets, print cards, and quality inspection paperwork with Machine Operator.
• Reads job order and mounts specified print plates or dies.
• Fills dye fonts with prescribed inks or dyes.
• Makes necessary machine adjustments to allow for proper print and die cutting.
• Monitors box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, damage and print.
• Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at the available capacity and speed. Cross trains and assist Helpers, Stackers and Bundlers with job duties on the machine.
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including, but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality/Waste Data. Communicate with Supervision when Maintenance Work Orders are needed for repairs.
• Adherence to company policies including attendance.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Competencies:

• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to correctly measure and read a tape measure.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of RPM and PDE Manufacturing software. Must be computer literate.

Required Education and/or Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, printing or similar industry experience preferred.
