NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT ALIEN LABOR CERTIFICATION

Job Duties:

Responsible for managing BOXED’s cloud infrastructure. Automate, build, test, and deploy pipeline of new versions of various software applications to Boxed Kubernetes cluster and aid software developers in improving and debugging these systems. This includes working on Jenkins/Travis CI/CD Systems by creating automated scripts to speed up deployment times and make the process more streamlined. It also includes debugging failed deployments with developers to find the root cause of the failures. Manage BOXED’s cloud infrastructure used to run all applications, including the e-commerce website, warehouse management system, data pipeline, backend office site, and all other applications used internally by upgrading various cloud infrastructure to newer releases for improvement and security patches, monitoring updates and fixing issues such as crashes, performance, and connectivity. Improve and debug performance issues on all BOXED’s software applications by using application performance monitoring (APM) services and improve BOXED’s automated performance testing by writing scripts. Debugging crashes by searching through application logs, aiding in the architectural design of new software applications, debugging issues, and aiding in the software development of BOXED’s applications. Must use knowledge of Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu operating systems, GIT versioning tool, CI/CD tools, GCR repositories, Java, Shell Scripting, Python, Groovy, YAML, HTML, CSS, Unix Shells (Bash), Maven, Npm, SQL Server, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Postgres, Splunk, Elasticsearch, Docker, VMWare, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Full Time Telecommuting Permitted.

Work Schedule:40 hours/week

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related
• 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupation (System/Programmer Analyst or related)
• 2 years of required experience must include experience with Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu operating systems, GIT versioning tool, CI/CD tools, GCR repositories, Java, Shell Scripting, Python, Groovy, YAML, HTML, CSS, Unix Shells (Bash), Maven, Npm, SQL Server, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Postgres, Splunk, Elasticsearch, Docker, VMWare, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Full-Time Telecommuting Permitted

Salary: $130,000 / year
