Are you passionate about precision machining and cutting-edge technology? Join BOXABL as a CNC Engineering Technician, where you will play a crucial role in operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machinery. Your primary responsibilities will involve the setup of CNC equipment, programming machine tools, monitoring production runs, and performing routine maintenance to ensure top-notch performance. Collaboration with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues, optimize machining processes, and achieve production goals will be key in this role. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Setup and Operation: Efficiently set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, and routers, according to provided instructions, blueprints, or CAD models.
- Programming Expertise: Write, modify, or adapt CNC programs using programming languages like G-code and CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor machining processes to guarantee accuracy, efficiency, and strict adherence to quality standards, leaving no room for compromise.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machinery, which includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to uphold optimal machine performance.
- Troubleshooting: Utilize your problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to tooling, machine performance, or programming errors, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes and enhance productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience and Education
- Multi-Axis Proficiency: Profound experience with multi-axis machining is a must, showcasing your advanced skills in precision engineering.
- Tool Mastery: Demonstrated experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated, or automated tools and machines (e.g., lathes, grinders), highlighting your versatility in machine operation.
- Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using precision tools such as calipers to take highly accurate measurements, emphasizing your commitment to precision.
- Materials Expertise: A deep understanding of feed rates and different processing speeds and feeds on various materials is crucial to excel in this role.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals, ensuring precise execution of machining tasks.
- Physical Capability: Physical stamina and strength are essential, as the role may require lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
