OUR PROPERTY

Bowie House, Auberge Resorts is an imaginative and bold new urban retreat that draws visitors to a place whose history is built on tales of frontier valor and adventure. An exciting gathering space for locals and visitors alike, the four-story, 106-room boutique hotel will feature 88 rooms and 18 suites, including a 2,250 square foot signature suite. Luxurious spaces weave together details from Western culture and style like boot jacks and hat racks with contemporary furnishings, lighting and artwork creating feelings of welcome and warmth.

A social hub for locals and visitors, Bowie House offers numerous spaces for visitors to enjoy the conviviality and camaraderie that have distinguished the location for so many years. Visitors can sip cocktails in the library lounge, visit the signature restaurant with views of the enchanting outdoor terraces or relax in cabanas on the second story outdoor infinity pool overlooking a peaceful garden oasis.

ROLE SUMMARY

Join our team as a Receiving Agent, and become one of the authors of our story. As the Receiving Agent you will receive and coordinate placement of all hotel products. The Receiving Agent assures all hotel product specifications are met or exceeded. You will also generate a daily receiving sheet for food, beverage and general products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ships all packages by specified shipper (UPS, Fed Ex). Shipments must be made on a daily basis.

Distributes all packages to the appropriate guest storage area and hotel departments.

Check to ensure received orders are correct.

Checking quality of product before driver leaves, ensuring all products are up to standards and returned if not.

Stocks, rotates and issues Food, Beverage and General products from requisitions

Inventories and orders assigned products.

Tracks and expedites scheduled daily deliveries, informing management of updates.

Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business and staff levels demand.

Comply with Purchasing Department, and Auberge Resorts policies and procedures.

Put all products received away in the proper location with product rotation.

Make Manager aware of product shortages, with a plan for re-ordering.

Report to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the Employee Resource Guide

Be familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures. Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by Management

May be required to work Holidays, evenings and weekends based on demand.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide simple numbers.

Promote positive relations with all receiving inquiries and third party vendors

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to work cohesively with other departments as part of a team and work independently

Ability to focus attention on details, be well organized and follow up

Excellent communication skills

Proper procedure of storage (ex: chemicals, food, etc.)

High School Graduate.

Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets and Google suite

Prior experience working in warehouse environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in a similar role with a luxury resort or hotel preferred
