A national leader in hotel management is seeking a strong finance leader to join their accounting department as the Vice President of Finance. As the VP of Finance, you will be leading an accounting team to streamline processes and procedures that will guide the company toward continued success. Our client is looking for an accounting leader with at least 5 years of management experience who is detail-oriented, energetic, and passionate about the hospitality industry.

Pay Range: $200k-225k base salary
Responsibilities:

• Manage 15 total entities
• Assess and restructure team and reporting structure, including managing 4 direct reports
• Work closely with Directors of Finance at properties
• Report out cash flow projections and report to owners
• Provide lender reporting
• Perform month-end bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Establish and revise internal controls and train property accountants onsite as needed
• Close the books every month
• Oversee full cycle accounting for all hotels and provide support in budget process
• Manage treasury and payroll, including overseeing payroll
• Conduct internal audits and work with third-party auditors
• Manage system integrations
• Provide franchise reports and statements
• Identify and implement efficiencies at hotel and corporate level
• Travel up to 25% of the time

• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience
• 3-5 years of centralized/multi-entity accounting
• Experience in hospitality and hotel accounting
• Knowledge of institutional-grade reporting systems (BlackRock, etc.)
• Expertise in pivot tables and vlookups in Excel
• Experience with process improvements and technology
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• CPA is preferred
• Experience with ProfitSword and M3 software is preferred
• Hotel management experience is preferred
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
