A food and beverage manufacturing company in Appleton, WI is searching for a tech-savvy and diligent Staff Accountant with manufacturing experience! Salary Range: $55, 000 - $65, 000 / year DOE

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
• Experience with Deacom ERP or ability to quickly learn new systems is preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing and inventory control is preferred
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish is preferred

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Analyze daily production sheets to validate data in the ERP system (deacom)
• Prepare concise reports with key highlights summarizing production activities for the prior day
• Generate cycle count reports for material handlers and verify the completion of these counts
• Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate inventory records
• Verify the accuracy of Purchase Orders entered by operational staff
• Enter invoices for payment and research discrepancies to P.O.
• Process vendor payments
• Assist with annual preparation of 1099s for tak reporting
• Ad hoc analysis, as required
• Participate in various finance-related activities as needed, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure their success
• Assist in updating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to communicate operational performance
• Provide support to production leads in ERP systems transaction and other finance-related tasks
