A small construction company in Bismark, ND is searching for a detail-oriented Controller to oversee its financial operations! This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and efficient handling of all accounting tasks. Salary Range: $75, 000 - $85, 000 / year DOE
Controller Requirements:

• 4 years in accounting roles (Bookkeeper, Accountant, or Controller)
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
• High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software
• CPA is preferred
• Background in construction
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to handle high-volume tasks with precision

Controller Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare and review financial statements, monthly and annual reports
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures
• Manage employee relations including new hire paperwork and updating employee manuals
• Reconcile bank accounts and audit financial transactions and documents
• Foster strong customer and vendor relationships
