A sophisticated excavating company in Austin, TX is searching for a skilled Construction Financial Accountant to join their team! This role involves a blend of both accounting and finance where you will first assist with implementing a new ERP system and then transition to month-end close duties and providing support to the CFO with finance-related tasks. They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of construction accounting experience and knowledge of Vista by Viewpoint construction software. Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000 DOE
Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing Vista by Viewpoint accounting software
• Handle month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Assist in budgeting, analysis, and ad hoc finance project
• Job costing for around 200 active projects
• Support finance-related tasks

• 3 years of construction accounting experience - General Contractor experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Vista by Viewpoint
• Strong Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA or MBA is highly preferred, but not required

• Experience with Spreadsheet Server and Crystal Reporting is preferred
• Strong finance background is preferred
