Assistant Manager Needed: Independent shoes and clothing retail chain seeks an experienced receiving Assistant Warehouse Manager for its Port Chester, NY location. Come join our team!

Duties:
- assisting in oversight of Warehouse operations and team,
- helping to ensure efficiency/productivity of work,
- assisting in staff training,
- receiving merchandise from UPS and Fedex at the loading dock,
- checking packing lists for accuracy,
- unpacking merchandise,
- receiving merchandise in our computer system,
- hanging, steaming, tagging, and sensoring merchandise,
- packing up merchandise to be brought to the stores by our driver, etc.
- possible processing returns to vendors (RTV's) when applicable, etc.
Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday, but some Saturdays during our busy seasons and during Sidewalk Sales will be required. Possible overtime.
Location: Port Chester, NY.
Required:
- 2-3 years retail receiving warehouse management experience. Applicants without this experience will not be considered. Warehouse clothing experience preferred.
- Computer literacy and accuracy.
- Have the ability to bend and reach, lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders, etc.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- At least a high school or equivalent education.
- Be a team player and motivator, be hard working, trustworthy and come to work on time.
