Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
$41.44 - $58.16 an hour - Full Time, Nights. 36 hours a week.
**Range includes night differential. $2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.
Boulder Community health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Unit, where you will serve as a dedicated patient caregiver. Within our care delivery system, the RN will apply nursing theories, procedures, and standards to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care. Qualifications
Colorado RN license in good standing.
BLS required by end of conditional period.
ACLS encouraged for Clinical Team Leads.
Six months to one year RN clinical nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
Practices universal precautions appropriately.
May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer.
