Boulder Associates Architects is Hiring an Office Coordinator Near Seattle, WA

Be a part of a growing design firm on the Lake Washington Ship Canal with the opportunity to make a difference in peoples’ lives through thoughtful design. SABA BA is an architecture and interior design firm that is a leader in healthcare, life sciences, workplace, and early learning facilities. We provide architecture and interior design services from thriving offices in Seattle, Boulder, Charlotte, Dallas, Irvine, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Sacramento, and San Francisco.
We are seeking a part time (20-24 hours per week) Office Coordinator to join our Seattle team. Successful candidates will enjoy multi-tasking, customer service and have a strong attention to detail. Top candidates will be looking for a small office environment and will be eager to learn quickly and progress in their careers. This role will support events on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during daytime business hours, so those are the ideal workdays for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative
General office administration: receptionist at front desk, process mail, shipping, receive packages
Answer phones and route calls
Serve as the administrative assistant to the principals, as needed
Assist with expense reports and travel arrangements for the principals, as needed
Interface with IT to ensure efficient and organized resolution to office-wide technology issues
Misc. administrative duties, as assigned
Facilities
Manage office materials and supplies (keeping track of stock, ordering, organizing, etc.)
Maintain the copy room, kitchen, lounge, and conference rooms
Assist with new employee workstation setup & preparing conference rooms for meetings
Interface with building management to ensure maintenance needs are communicated and coordinated in a timely manner
Events
Organize and coordinate the weekly Seattle office cocktail hour (food, drinks, etc.)
Organize and coordinate after-hours office events such as project field trips, bowling, skiing, baseball, summer weekend at the lake, holiday dinner, anniversary party, etc.
Job Qualifications
Experience:
Computer literate (intermediate computer/keyboard skills are a must)
Work experience in customer service or as a receptionist, office coordinator or administrative assistant preferred
Experience or interest in architectural, engineering, or professional service firms is desirable
Physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Ability to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone and perform repetitive motion (keyboard); writing (notetaking); reading and analyzing written material
Ability to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to thirty (30) lbs
Ability to express or exchange ideas to impart information to the public and internal employees and to convey detailed instructions accurately and quickly
The job involves frequent contact with teammates and the public. May occasionally be required to work irregular hours, based on the needs of the business.
The hourly rate range for this non-exempt position is between $22.12-$25.49 hourly, depending on experience.
