Boulay is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Prairie, MN

We are currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic individual to join our Internal Accounting department as a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst is responsible for overseeing the month-end close process and reviewing monthly financial statements. This individual will conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. They will assist with building and maintaining complex financial models to support regular and ad-hoc financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
Reviewing month-end close and account reconciliations.
Monthly financial statement review.
Analysis of variances of actual results to budget and forecast.
Forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and various ad hoc projects.
Financial modeling and reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or related field
At least 5 years of related experience
Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of month-end close and account reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
Attention to detail in composing, reconciling and proofing materials
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Preferred:
Experience with Deltek Maconomy, or other ERP system
Experience with Prophix, or other forecasting software
Experience in Professional Services
