Duties

Responsibilities :

• Effectively loads and operates the dishwashing machines.
• Hand washes pots, pans, and other items in accordance with

the standards of sanitation and cleanliness.

Thoroughly cleans dish machine by emptying tanks and

filling tanks. Ensures that curtains are set up. Empties grease

traps and barrels. Checks rinse agent and detergent and fills as

necessary. Promptly notifies Supervisor of any irregularities with the

machine.

Thoroughly cleans and empties disposal drains

regularly.

Keeps dish cleaning area and floor clean and free from

debris.

• Empties all trash in kitchen area.

Maintains bus stations in assigned areas. Ensures

that areas have soiled silverware containers, bus buckets and empty garbage

cans.

• Always stacks clean dishes in proper storage area.
• Ensures that pot sink area is clean and free from

debris. Makes sure that pots are kept inverted and put in proper specific

storage area. Complies with all applicable health standards.

Uses chemicals in proper areas and in correct

concentrations.

Skills

Requirements :

• Previous dishwashing experience required.
• Basic safety knowledge and understanding of how to operate

a dishwashing machine and floor machines.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must possess a current Food Handler card.
