Boston Event Guide is seeking a dynamic salesperson to join our team as we grow and develop.

The person who fills this role must haveand a high comfort level with reaching out to prospects. You should be driven to achieve and exceed targets and have a passion for sales!

We are looking for self-motivated individuals to sell fun events and marketing initiatives.

We are quickly expanding and are looking for a determined team player to join our team. This is a fun environment with endless opportunities. If you would love working on large scale events and driving business with Boston’s biggest companies, this role is for you.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build new sponsorship, vendors, and groups sales for current events
  • Drive new corporate event planning and marketing sales
  • Research/outreach to new sponsors & corporate event planning relationships
  • Maintain existing business
  • Close new business to achieve goals
  • Develop new ways to expand our partnership lists

We are looking for a sales professional who can quickly learn our research processes, hit sales goals, stay organized, and find solutions when problems arise.

1. This position requires a driven, hardworking, team player who can work independently to drive sponsorships and new business. Please describe your most challenging experience demonstrating these requirements and your ability to achieve and go above and beyond the desired goals.

2. This position requires outreach to new contacts. Are you comfortable making cold calls to make new connections?

3. What experience do you have keeping up with follow ups and existing accounts in a CRM?

4. Name 3 ways to find new business in a previous sales role. (networking events, direct mail etc.) Bonus points for elaborating.
