Since 1969, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) has been a vital presence in Greater Boston and beyond, empowering Asians and new immigrants to build healthy families, achieve greater economic success, and contribute to thriving communities. The Youth Center provides a space for youth to build connections, explore and understand their community, and to put leadership skills into action. Through year-round programming centered on leadership development, education, and workforce readiness in Boston and Quincy, BCNC supports youth to thrive in school and beyond.

BCNC YC's Summer Youth Employment Program (SEP) is looking to hire Teen Staff at age between 14-18 in summer 2023. The program is to provide youth with workforce skills, practical experience, and the opportunity to have meaningful impact with various departments of the organization. This position’s pay rate is $15.00 per hour with 25 hours per week, and no more than 175 hours in total. Program orientation starts on Wednesday, June 28 to Thursday, June 29. Program will run from Wednesday July 5th to Friday August 11th for 6 weeks of program.

Work is performed primarily in a standard work environment, including the operation of computer equipment, and physical demands associated with a traditional work setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions, as necessary.
