The Accounting Analyst is responsible for completing diverse tasks related to general ledger reconciliation, financial reporting and review, Sales & Use tax preparation as well as financial analysis.

Bosselman offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through:
Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and reviews tax filings to include sales tax, use tax and fuel tax.
  • Reviews tax accruals.
  • Prepares documents for all tax audits.
  • Informs departments of any tax changes.
  • Maintains the tax tables in the accounting system.
  • Knowledgeable of tax laws for all states and becomes the tax specialist for the company.
  • Prepares annual reports, retail trade reports and census reports.
  • Processes month end journal entries.
  • Reconciles and oversees inventory processes and reporting.
  • Supervises and audits inventory counts as needed.
  • Works with division managers on timely and accurate end of month reporting.
  • Prepares and reviews monthly financial statements.
  • Reconciles specific general ledger accounts.
  • Assists in the preparation of budgets.
  • Assists in the preparation of year end audit work papers.
  • Sorts and files appropriate sales information for record retention.
  • Communicates with co-workers, management and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Reports for work in a timely and consistent manner when scheduled.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This job may have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting and/or 3-5 years of job experience in the related field along with tax experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be organized and have strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards software preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE.
  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
