Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the logistics and transportation operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient scheduling and dispatching of drivers and vehicles to meet customer demands. Responsibilities: - Receive and process customer orders for transportation services - Coordinate with drivers to schedule pick-up and delivery times - Monitor driver progress and provide updates to customers - Track shipments using GPS and GIS systems - Maintain accurate records of all dispatching activities - Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams - Resolve any issues or delays in a timely manner - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Provide exceptional customer service at all times Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and transportation operations - Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) industry is a plus - Proficient in data entry and computer systems - Experience with fleet management software is desirable (e.g., SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management) - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy If you are a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
