Boss Exteriors is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team in Canby, Oregon. As the Lead Carpenter, you will play a key role in overseeing the construction and installation of various exterior projects and ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $35 to $45 per hour.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and other skilled laborers in the construction and installation of various exterior projects, such as siding, roofing, and windows
• Communicate, plan and budget using Microsoft Office
• Email updates to customers and project managers
• Utilize company software to build a complete job file
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety on job sites to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to company standards
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Install and repair various exterior features, including siding, roofing, windows, and doors
• Train and mentor junior carpenters and other team members
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other contractors to ensure all project requirements are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry and construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Organized and able to track and manage data
• Physically able to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
