Financial Analyst

Key Role:

Assist with key input related to the financial performance of a business unit, including support for annual and multi-year forecasts, budget, and spend management. Collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the organization to determine underlying assumptions, accounting methodologies, and cost considerations regarding financial projections and reporting. Conduct financial analysis by examining internal financial reports, performing root-cause analysis, and determining their implications and impacts on performance. Analyze financial results and develop action plans ensuring business units achieve key metrics. Build dynamic Microsoft Excel financial models for a range of audiences, including non-finance staff to perform scenario analysis around budgets. Learn and become fluent in different financial paradigms to communicate effectively with stakeholders in various parts of the company. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with financial analysis

• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel at an advanced level

• Ability to perform financial analysis and use critical thinking to bring value to the improvement of financial performance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with government services

• Experience with managing large datasets for analysis

• Experience with Essbase and SmartView

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
