Booyah Advertising is Hiring an Art Director, Social Media Near Denver, CO

Booyah Advertising is in search of an Art Director, Social Media, to join our team in Denver, CO. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director (ACD), the Art Director will be the brand steward for all social media deliverables, overseeing the entire process from conceptualization to final execution across various touchpoints. Areas of Responsibilities:

Ability to conceptualize and execute innovative, social-first campaigns that captivate, provide value, and convert the audiences.
Able to follow brand guidelines to create on-brand assets while also recognizing when to push boundaries and defy expectations.
Proactively identifies upsell opportunities to include in client presentations.
Efficient in delivering large quantity of different social media executions.
Able to incorporate social media best practices within these deliverables. Must be knowledgeable in the distinct purposes and functionalities across diverse social media formats such as statics content, carousels, reels, and stories.
Stay ahead of design and social trends ensuring clients get the freshest creative.
Able to create and present storyboards that deliver on effective visual storytelling, directing editors, and providing feedback on video edits until completion.
Ensuring every piece of content delivers on the brief and is executed in the highest standards of design.
Ensures client satisfaction with performance and service - knows when to flag issues with the ACD that need to be addressed internally or with client.
Expected to be a strong problem solver. When the team is facing client challenges, can ideate solutions and bring recommendations to the ACD
Flawless QA of work prior to production or presentation, including revisions.
Understands project scope, logs accurate time tracking, and incorporates feedback appropriately and accurately.

Desired Background and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BFA) in Graphic Design, Advertising or related field
5 years of design experience in an agency setting, with a portfolio that showcases social media executions or campaigns.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
Motion graphics experience preferred or willing to learn simple animations.

Familiar with top requested digital asset specs and best practices (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Sponsored Promotions, Responsive, Banners).
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Word.
Provide input on client timeline and scope as needed.
Social personality – comfortable with talking on the phone, presenting, answering client questions, emailing, and seeking answers to questions in a timely manner.
Ambition and drive to produce great results for clients, often going above and beyond given tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple projects at once.
Accountability and pride in the work you produce.

Salary: $75,000-85,000
