THE EVENT DAY SPECIALIST ROLE AND WHY IT’S IMPORTANT TO BOOSTER:
The last day of our fundraiser at every school is always ended with an amazing event - these could be an Outdoor Fun Run, Indoor Glow Run, or Indoor Dance Fit experience for students. These events require 3-4 team members each and include heavy lifting (~45 lbs.), set-up, tear-down, and creating a safe, fun and memorable experience for the school from start to finish of the day! It’s an important role because it’s the celebration event of the entire program - the school has been looking forward to this day for months now! You’ll be displaying enthusiasm, professionalism, and intentional care to each Fun Run you’re at as we celebrate schools and communities reaching their fundraising goals!HERE’S WHY THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU:
This is an ideal as-needed or part-time job for someone who wants to do fun, impactful work alongside a community of world-changing leaders while having the extreme flexibility of school, other jobs, and extra curricular activities. In this role, you’ll learn a variety of valuable skills, receive proper training on events to help you succeed, and have the potential opportunity to move into a more permanent role on our team.YOUR EVENT DAY WILL INCLUDE:

  • Helping your team set-up, host, and tear-down a Fun Run, Glow Run, or Dance Fit experience for students.
  • Engaging with teachers, parents, and administrators - professionally and enthusiastically.
  • Being a part of a team who models Fitness, Leadership, and Character to others.
  • Full Day of Work with an early morning for set-up, and an afternoon of tear-down.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You’re a licensed driver with reliable transportation
  • You can pass Booster’s Background and Motor Vehicle check
  • You’re able to lift up to 45 lbs.
  • You’re able to be active and on your feet while on campus
