**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catering Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Catering Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our catering business growth by developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of catered events. Your exceptional sales skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication abilities will contribute to the overall success of our catering department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**1. Sales and Business Development:**

- Proactively identify and target new business opportunities to expand the company's catering client base.

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

- Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals seeking catering services.

- Respond to inquiries promptly, provide customized proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure new business.

**2. Client Relationship Management:**

- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences.

- Collaborate closely with clients to plan and execute events that align with their vision and objectives.

- Regularly follow up with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction.

**3. Event Coordination and Execution:**

- Collaborate with internal teams, including chefs and event staff, to ensure seamless event planning and execution.

- Oversee event logistics, from menu selection and set-up to service and breakdown.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during events, ensuring a high level of client and guest satisfaction.

**4. Market Research and Analysis:**

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities.

- Conduct regular market research to identify potential areas for growth and innovation in the catering industry.

**5. Team Leadership:**

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of catering sales coordinators and support staff.

- Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

**6. Reporting and Analytics:**

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details.

- Generate regular sales reports and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven track record of successful catering or hospitality sales

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on closing deals.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.

- Creative problem solver with the ability to adapt to changing client needs and event requirements.

- Leadership experience and the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.

- Knowledge of culinary and catering trends is a plus.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on client demands.
