Count Team

The countdown is on to fill the position for a part-time Count Team Member at Boomtown! We are “counting” on the successful team member to be responsible for the daily removal and count of currency from slot machines at Boomtown Casino Hotel. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary by a supervisor. The hired team member will be responsible for removing drop cans as well as transporting cans to the count room. Other responsibilities include processing cash, chips, tickets and records by denomination. Following all regulatory and department policies outlined in the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Department Policy and Procedures are mandatory key requirements for this position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Remove drop cans and transport cans to our count room
• Processes cash, chips, tickets and records by denomination
• Follow all regulatory and department policies outlined in the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Departmental Policy and Procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Requirements include: previous cash handling, able to obtain and maintain a gaming license and must be 21 or older. When working in our fun and friendly work environment, the atmosphere may include smoke and variable temperature as well as lighting and noise level as the location of this position is on the Casino floor. This position calls for the team members to have the ability to stand for long periods, frequent pushing, pulling and lifting up to 25 pounds. This position is worked in 4- and 8-hour shifts.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
