Responsibilities & Duties

• Collect equipment from our storage unit in New Orleans
• Transport equipment to the venue using your personal vehicle
• Set up photo booths and camera/video equipment
• Optimize the camera for highest photo quality
• Manage the photo booth during the event
• Communicate clearly & professionally with clients/event planners
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Dismantle everything at the end of the event
• Return equipment to the storage unit
• Periodically travel to Mandeville office for training

• People-person, must enjoy engaging with guests/clients

Qualifications

• Photography experience/knowledge required
• Able to lift up to 75lbs
• Able to work nights and weekends
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, iOS)
• Ability to see, identify & recreate high quality photos
• Comfortable using, setting up & troubleshooting equipment
• Professional appearance & behavior

Events typically include weddings, parties, social & corporate events, and run for 3-4 hours, with a total working time of approximately 6-7 hours (including set-up/tear-down). Most events take place in the New Orleans area, but some are held on the Northshore.

Compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $30 per hour for our standard services, with up to $50 to 75 for those who master more complex systems, can do roaming photography, or become event staff trainers.
