Family Peer Specialist needed in Brooklyn
Full time position!
Field work required.
The staff uses a culturally competent, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency.
Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities.
Work Shift : Monday 9am-5pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 12pm-8pm, Thursday 10am-6pm and Friday 9am-5pm.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will provide Case Management and Advocacy services for caregivers of children and adolescents, and their families.
The Family Peer Advocate will help plan, access, and coordinate services for children and their families. The position is predominately community-based work.
The candidate will be traveling within Brooklyn.
