The 1st Class Crane Operator is responsible for the safe operation of a crawler crane friction and hydraulic, cherry picker, forklift, barge cranes, gantry crane or any designated piece of equipment, also assist in the maintenance of their rig and will participate in doing some of their own rigging. The ideal candidate must a minimum of two (2) years' experience and have a full understanding of overhead cranes, heavy lift cranes, cherry pickers, forklifts, barge cranes, load charts, load limits, and all aspects of the machinery and lifting loads. Shipyard experience is a plus.
