About the role

Bold is looking for a Partner Account Manager, Shopify to foster and expand new and existing partnerships. You will lead innovative and scalable strategies to leverage our suite of Shopify Apps with partners, affiliates, and their clients. This position emphasizes relationship-building and discovering new opportunities to drive revenue growth through marketing efforts.

What you’ll do

  • Execute on Bold’s objective of becoming an industry leader and valued solution within the Shopify partner ecosystem including technology and agency partners
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with our valued partners and affiliates by employing high levels of engagement and elite operational execution
  • Research potential partners and affiliates, identifying key players and generating interest through networks, cold calls, and emails
  • Manage the complete partnership and affiliate cycle including prospect, contract, integration, and on-going management
  • Be a trusted advisor to our partners and customers by utilizing high levels of integrity and transparency
  • Introduce partners and affiliates to new product enhancements, service developments, pricing initiatives, and other benefits of the Bold proposition 
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities jointly with partners and affiliates serving as a facilitator for our Sales Team
  • Monitor and report on partnership and affiliate business performance including conversion rates and tracking towards goals to identify key trends
  • Develop a deep understanding of Bold’s value proposition, channels, and goals within the partners ecosystem
  • Develop and manage partner and affiliate focused campaigns to maximize the value of partnerships, ultimately driving our pipeline to close deals
  • Create and manage partner marketing and content calendar
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing Team as required to develop and deliver partner-focused events and webinars; advertising, email, social, and in-app campaigns; promotions; and pricing strategies
  • Working with the wider Marketing Team to build and maintain an ecosystem of content and collateral including one pagers, webpages, and training, and enablement materials 
  • Identify and pursue partner-provided marketing opportunities such as conferences, promotional programs, enablement programs, and internal/external partner-led communications, that will expand awareness and increase our footprint within the partner organization
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for partnership programs, while also training our partners on the Bold suite of products

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of partner or partner marketing experience within the Shopify partner ecosystem with a successful track record of building a strong book of business and individual high achievement
  • Post-secondary education such as a degree or diploma in business administration, computer science, or a related field OR equivalent work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • In-depth knowledge of business practices, industry practices, and trends
  • Capacity to manage a consistent and promising pipeline of leads and prospects for new sales activities
  • Experience in understanding, communicating, and analyzing ROI in the negotiation process with partner
  • Experience and existing relationships within the Shopify partner ecosystem
  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce/Hubspot) to track customer and partner relationships

Please note that this is a contract position that has the potential to transition into a permanent, full-time role depending on performance and business requirements.
