Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking motivated and talented Engineering Branch Managers to join the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Systems Engineering, Test, and Readiness (SITR) Program in Huntsville, Alabama.

In this role, you will be responsible for a SITR Engineering team. You will also be responsible for the integration and adoption of best practices and Model Based Engineering. Your responsibilities may include the following:

• Day-to-day direction of a team of engineers to include management, development and motivation of employee.
• Responsible for engineering integrity and excellence of all engineering and technical activities of the SITR Engineering team.
• Setting clear priorities to meet customer/stakeholder and business goals, to include max award fee capture
• Responsible for deploying Boeing Engineering Initiatives (Design Practices, MBE/MBSE, TLEs, and Development Excellence) and best practices, as appropriate, for improved quality and efficiency.
• Responsible for management of staffing levels, performance evaluations, performance development and career counseling.
• Management of systems engineering activities to support the verification, test and delivery of GMD products and components.
• Management and execution of Development and Early Integration Labs activities.
• Management and execution of GMD systems engineering and product engineering in a digital engineering environment.
• Management and execution of GMD Digital Model on the Integrated Digital Data Environment.
• Control Account Management (CAM) of the team budget.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
• Bachelor, master or doctorate of science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• 5 years of systems engineering or software engineering experience
• 3 years of experience managing and leading a technical team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Experience using Systems Engineering processes and tools
• Experience presenting to program leaders and customers
• Experience with customer coordination pertaining to complex systems
• Experience with Agile Development processes
• Experience with Model-based Engineering / Model-based Systems Engineering
