JOB SUMMARY:

The Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, and managing materials within a warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supply plant with packaging and new raw materials

· Load and unload trucks

· Stack pallets in various types of racking in neat and proficient manner

· Remove finished goods from production and place into storage

· Receive inbound shipments

· Perform inventory tasks such as cycle counting and stock rotation

· General housekeeping of the warehouse

· Perform other duties as directed by supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Must be able to lift, carry, and stack 20–50 lb. boxes repeatedly during the shift

· Push or pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during the shift

· Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per day

· Safe operation of forklift truck

· Perform transactions on computer with high level of accuracy

· Involves repetitive motion of hands and arms for extended periods of time

· Must be able to climb ladders

· Must be able to speak, listen, and professionally interact with various staff, customers, and carriers

· Must be able to operate and troubleshoot robotic palletizers

· Must be able to work under time pressure and perform several tasks at the same time

· Must be able to work well with numbers, keeping orderly and accurate records

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with no violations

· Must possess (or be able to develop) a high degree of forklift operation skills

· Must have basic computer operation skills

· Prior warehouse experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time
